Rep.-elect Cicilline chooses top RI staff

U.S. Rep.-elect David Cicilline has chosen a veteran team to lead his Rhode Island district office. The district director will be Alix Ogden, who served as director of operations at Providence City Hall under Cicilline. Ogden, who is married to John Simmons, executive director of the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, is also a former Providence Parks Department superintendant. Ernie Carlucci of North Providence has been tapped to be deputy district director. Carlucci is the Providence parking administrator and is a former administration director for Cranston city government. Marisol Garcia has been chosen to run the constituent services shop. Garcia has most recently been working in public relations for Vision Strategy. She worked for outgoing Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy as a constituent aide.
